check upload.log first to see if it indicates any issues comunicating to the server. This is in Program Files\systemhound\logs on the client.
If it says
'unable to connect to database server'
, you will need to resolve this. It could be networking issues. If you use DHCP, check to see if there is a conflict with the lmhost file in WinNT\system32\drivers folder (note that this varies).
If it is able to communicate with the server, check hwinfo.log for the following:
shservice: Plugin C:\Program Files\systemhound\Plugins\upload.dll / Job 0 TERMINATED due to timeout (90 secs)
. Again, this indicates networking issues between the client and server, and the upload session is timing out after a default of 90 seconds.
You can change this value in the registry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\systemhound\shService. The key is called timeout - change this from 9000 to a higher number like 500000. If the timeout key is not present, create it.
