If you are installing to large numbers of machines, you may find that the Install Wizard takes time. This is because it will show pop ups for every Win 9x machine it finds, every machine on a different domain that it needs a username/password for, and for any other issues that it finds.

The Install Wizard needs to carry out these checks in order to ensure that the systemhound client can be installed on the selected machines. However, when installing to hundreds and thousands of machines, this can prove to be tiresome. You may wish that the Install Wizard only finds those machines that it can install the client onto, and does not show any error pop ups.

The next version of systemhound will have an enhanced version of the Install Wizard which lets you install to IP ranges and does not show pop ups.

If you wish to try out a beta version of this, please contact support@systemhound.com
