OK, I admint it wasn't smart, but I rushed in and deleted 4.2 and installed 2007. Then figured out that I never kept the database. So how do you install the  client on machines that say they alredy have the client on?

You don't need to do anything if you've install onto the same server. The clients will download the latest software and resend data to server during the standard polling cycle
