Software notes

Does anyone know a way to enter licensing information and associate that with a piece of software. For example, I have 1 license of Minitab R.15, it shows up under software and I have entered the numbers of licenses I have. I would like to enter the license info in a notes field that is linked to this piece of software. Ideally, I would enter the physical location of the paperwork and license in a notes field. I'm looking for a quick way to prove that the count I put in the license number box is legit.
