We've been running systemhound for a while now on this same licensed server and we're getting some workstations that DO NOT have the correct IP listed in the web reporting when we do a refresh. Do we need an update?
What is the OS of the machine? What is the IP as listed when you run
ipconfig /all
from a command prompt?

Hi Nigel,
Here is the observed problem.
Systemhound Info
reception PC is reporting Win98 and IP of 192.168.2.64
cabinres PC is reporting Win98 and IP of 192.168.2.64
The PCs are actually as follows:
reception PC is reporting Win98 and IP of 192.168.2.64
cabinres PC is reporting Win2k and IP of 192.168.2.88
Any ideas how to clear up this erroneous information in Systemhound?
Thank you - Richard Timmer

I would say that it looks like cabinres is not actually reporting to systemhound; if its a Win 2k machine, systemhound isn't going to report it as Win 98.
Its possible that reception and cabinres are the same pc - how were the clients installed on these two machines?
Go to cabinres, and look in Program Files\systemhound\logs\upload.log - are there any errors at the bottom? Also confirm the hostname of this machine by entering Start/Run/hostname
