Clients not updating

Hello,
I have a problem with two laptops - Dell Inspiron 6400. Both laptops do not update. The moment systemhound is installed, they send the data to the server (with a correct upload.log). From then, they do not report anymore. When reinstalled, again one report. .
I have tried to change the settings in the registry but the timeout value is not listed. Only three lines are listed in the registry: pollingfreq and timeout are not listed.
I have imported the registry settings from a working system (with PollinFreq and Timeout) into one of the laptops but this did not work: the system does not update.
Both are Win XP SP2. The systemhound service is running.
Anyone an idea?

On one of the machines you are having the problem with can you zip up the folder "program files\systemhound\logs" and send the zip to support @ systemhound.com.
If you copied the registry from another machine you may have copied the machine's unique id that is allocated by systemhound - therefore your machine name will switch between all the machines that share the same machine id within the reports. The best way to fix this is to uninstall systemhound on the problem machine AND delete the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\systemhound to remove the machine id...then reinstall systemhound.
Regards
D
