I have installed the trial version of systemhound to my pc, and started to install the client to a couple of pcs. I'm not having any luck receiving the information from the client pcs. In the logs it states that it timed out while polling. Any suggestions

systemhound uses TCP/IP to connect to the systemhound server so check that you can ping the server you've installed the 'systemhound central server' on to from the machine that is having trouble.
e.g.
1] Install systemhound central server onto a PC and note the machine name.
2] Install the systemhound client onto another PC using the downloaded installer and enter the machine name you installed the central server to. The installer will validate that the systemhound server can be found and contacted correctly. If the server machine name doesn't work try using the ip address.
If you still have problems email details of your computer setup (OS and service packs) for the client and server plus zipped contents of the systemhound/log directory to
support at systemhound.com
Thanks
