Grouping Systems
«

I have several small clusters of machines around the country & would like SystemHound to show a hardware breakdown by group/cluster. I was wondering if this was possible by setting a reqistry key that denoted the cluster & then having SH display the different clusters togeather. I would really like to have a divider line w/cluster name show up on the page, but that may be asking too much.
Thanks,
-Sean W.

This is not possible through the web reporting, but there is a way to achieve something similar using the CSV Export.
Create a custom field using the Central Configuration's custom field option (see section 4 in the user guide for more info). Call it 'location' for example. Then create an ini or txt file with the same location value per cluster. Systemhound will then report this custom field, and you can export the hardware data to CSV or Access, and sort on this field, thus achieving a grouped report.
