I am having trouble installing the client on certain machines.
When connecting to the client with the server I get the Invalid account/password message. I followed the instructions in the FAQ's (Connect Network Registry,...)
I finally installed the client manually on the machine.
But is still not sending data the server.

Btw: I have admin rights on all pcs and the network, no network problems, client is running Win XP with SP2 (firewall disabled).

Can anybody help me?

Hi, what does it say in the Program Files\systemhound\logs\upload.log file on the client? It should either point to an error, or else it will say 'successful' at the bottom? What is the OS of the server?

In that case, is the client pointing to the right server? It should say which server its going to, around line 5 on upload.log

Are other clients reporting normally? Check that the systemhound services are running on the server.

The client is connecting to  the correct server.
And services are running on the server.

About 5 of my 60 computers, have this problem.

I think if we can solve this problem, the rest will be simple.

How many machines are showing on the web reports? Is it 60 or 55? When you manually installed the client, was it using systemhound.exe?

It shows 55, but I know there are 60 computers in the network.
It uses systemhound.exe.

I mean, now it uses systemhound.exe. But before there was no systemhound.exe on the system.

Hmm this isn't making any sense. If the client is successfully installed and reporting to the correct server, then it should be visible on the reports. Can you send your sitebuilder.log from systemhound\logs on the server, to support@systemhound.com with the url to this topic?
