I love YaBB 1G - SP1!

I have installed systemhound on my machine and then used the install wizard to all the other machines on our win2k network. All machines say they have the software installed but when I go into the web reporting tool, it only shows the server it is installed on. It also says that on 1 of 75 licenses used.

Go to a client machine and check Program Files/systemhound/logs/upload.log and see if there are any error messages at the bottom of this file.

I seem to be having the same problem. We did an audit months ago, and all computers were detected. I tried to do an audit today and the newer computers are not shown, even though the software is installed. Also, thier are no error messages in the logs.

Lets try and isolate the issue:

1. Do you have licenses still available? Check the web reports home page as it will indicate how many you are currently using up.
2. Can you ping successfully from a client that isn't reporting to the server?
3.Are all other clients reporting normally?

What is the OS of the server and the clients?

Thanks for the help guys
Nish, in answer to your questions
1. The home page still says 1 of 75 licenses used
2. Yes I can ping the server from the client
3. Not sure what you mean by this?
The os of the server is win xp pro sp2 and the clients are a mix of win 2k pro and win xp pro.

I have just printed the log from the client machine and it says unable to connect to the database server (server name)!

kam_61, the issue you have is to do with the Firewall on XP SP2 which is most likely turned on on the server. Please install v4.0.5.0 - you can download it from www.systemhound.com or  using the download button at the top of this site, or using the direct links provided in the readme.txt that came with your licence. Install over your current version, and that should fix the issue. As a test, you can re-install a client to a machine which did not previously report - remember to uncheck the box on the Install Wizard which says 'do not install if already installed' - and it should report back within a minute.
