Model # and Serial #

Hey Nish:
My new company uses a lot of Toshiba Satellite Pro 6100's. I was hoping Systemhound could pick up the Model # or Serial # from these laptops, but unfortunately this information is not even in the Bios. I flashed a test laptop to the latest Bios version, and yet it still has no information.
I did notice though that Systemhound is displaying an "Asset ID" number. This is kind of odd, because this AssetID number is nowhere to be found in the Bios. I also searched the registry for the Asset ID, and it's not there.
My questions are: Where is this Asset ID coming from? Do you know of any way to obtain Serial # info and Model # Info, other than walking around from laptop to laptop and flipping them over? Perhaps a 3rd party Asset program?
