Systemhound fails to find at least following serial numbers:

Windows NT4
Microsoft Office XP Standard
Solidworks 2004
Bartender v6.x
Corel / Wordperfect office all versions

There are probably more of them, but so far I have noticed these. Will the next version fix that detection flaw?

Its not a flaw as such. Software manufacturers employ almost no logic as to where they place the serial number in the registry or what they call it, or even ensuring that the same location is used on each operating System (Office XP being a prime example of this). We can only look in certain places; searching the entire registry is not possible.

You can do a search in the registry yourself for these serials; do an export of the registry at the location where you find the serial and send it to support@systemhound.com and we'll try to include it in the next release.

You could also enter the registry details into the Custom Software Tool, and it'll appear as a custom software entry in the software report.
